I got sent to the Wallow Wildfire, the largest in Arizona?s history, by Reuters for a week. I took a risk and avoided the media cluster f@*k on the northern edge of the fire near Springerville, Arizona and based by myself on the eastern edge of the fire near the small town of Luna, New Mexico.
It paid off and I got into the real moments away by sleeping in my vehicle a couple of the nights and also avoiding the convoy media tours. You can see more of my work that I liked for whatever reason by clicking on pic or GOING HERE.

I work for the Associated Press, Reuters, Getty Images and the Salt Lake Tribune. And as of this moment I have no felonies and no warrants out for my arrest that I know of.
